Hausordnung untersagt werden. Als Brandschutz werden alle Maßnahmen bezeichnet,
die die Entstehung eines Brandes verhindern oder
der Ausbreitung eines solchen entgegenwirken. Darüber hinaus zählt auch das Ermöglichen der Rettung von Menschen. Tieren sowie von wirksamen Löscharbeiten zum Brandschutz.
Erstere Maßnahmen werden üblicherweise als vorbeugender
Brandschutz bzw. Brandverhütung bezeichnet, letztere als abwehrender Brandschutz.
